citypark has stated the obvious answer, and I fear this thread has turned into a hate-war.

Well some banks could have a problem with you reciveing payments under other names (cough) (cough) (ING) So maybe this is the case and the person dosent want to use there real name on paypal so they make a common ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name for paypal and BOA and use it to accept payments with no problems from the bank.

If you use PETER BLUE on paypal and ebay account. You can add bank account which is opened by SUCKER MORE. There will be no problem. So I can't see any point to open bank account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name.

So how can you transfer money from Peter Blue to Sucker more. You can't, paypal does direct deposit to your bank account, your bank will not accept it if it's under diff name.

99.9% of the banks in the US will accept the deposit from PayPal regardless of what name is on the bank account...

Its just that simple!

Are you sure BOA does that too? I haven't tried, but I asked them, they said no. If direct deposit under diff name, they will reject.

I think he give some money to bank man to opened a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account lol that was seriously kidding :D

GREMLIN 12-05-2008 09:37 AM

Citypark is correct
have a account in your own name. Dont ever use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names it is illegal, you will go to jail for fraud.
Your friend must be using this account as a trading as account. The only time i can see this to be of any advantage is if you are accepting bank transfers and list your details on ebay like many other sellers that have there details on the listing.

Just thought of something. If we give our sort code and account number on listings with our ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name but legit bank details then will the money go through like it does with paypal?

tonyvas 12-05-2008 10:17 AM

was that a real or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bank? :)
