Can I recover this paypal?
 

Howdy everybody. This paypal account got limited and my ebay got shut down within the same 10 minutes. This message paypal sent me seems a little less threatening and convicting than the previous messages they have sent me when they limit my account. So I wanted to know if anybody has experience with this message and if they have successfully restored their pp from this type of limitation.

We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal

You just have to provide PayPal with the information that they will have asked for

hey man, you know the usual request for docs and so forth. It's just previous limitations were a dead end, but this one sounds a little "softer" from the tone of limitation email they sent me. I just wanted to know if I called in there was a different way this could play out.

There are three ways this can play out.

1. You provide docs, and they dont believe docs, or goods, are legit. They shut you down.

2. You provide docs, they request additional documentation

3. You provide docs, they reinstate your account

I didnt include the option of your not providing what they ask for, cos thats a given that you wanna save this account

@nodeal, you haven't actually stated what information Paypal have asked for. Without this nobody can give you an indication what your chances are.

Some basic limitations can be removed by carrying out a few automated procedures whilst others can have a "shopping list" of steps to restore them.

Colfor has pretty much summed up the various outcomes of supplying documentation.

thanks guys. As far as documentation is concerned, they've given me the shopping list. They want me to do a song and a dance for them. Having been through this before without success, I'm not going to go through the trouble of providing the docs.

Because the wording of the limitation email was different from previous limitations emails I have received (seemed a little less threatening and convicting than previous emails), I wanted to see if there was a way to get through this without doing the song and dance. But it seems as though that's just not the way it goes with paypal. If I do decide to call and give it a shot, I'll update you guys. Thank you.
