can't receive payments?
 

Hi,

Have a customer that wants to buy something from me but he is getting a message that I am not receiving payments.

I am nowhere near the limits of 200 transactions / $20K in sales (US account.

EB and PP accounts have not had troubles before. 100% positive feedback, 0% deficiencies.

I looked through my emails and messages in ebay and PP and got nothing saying there was a problem. Also check spam folders...looked everywhere. It is a stealth account for EB and PP.

the buyer had a lot of FBs and been on ebay for a long time so I think he is not clueless.

Any ideas? Everything is BIN with immediate payment required and I really don't want to have to buy my own item.

Have you actually logged into the Paypal to check it is okay?

Yes. I logged in a few hours after he wrote and then again 24 hours later.

Hell, I just got my tax refund so maybe I will just buy my own item. I guess I should use a VCC and guest account though.

Thoughts?

The buyer may have his own issue on limits - I have had that problem when my pp was not verified or confirmed if I was trying for a large payment TO a seller...

Hmmmmm...well my item is under $50, and his feedback is spotless. I wrote to him that my stuff seems totally clean and have not heard back. But thanks for that info. I never knew you could be limited in SPENDING. Unless of course you don't have the money in your account.

Even then, it doesn't stop my wife. Just pull out the plastic........:faint:

yes you need a bank account/ VBA to lift the sending and withdrawal limits on a paypal otherwise you limited to sending $500 in total to other accounts.

OH. I thought that was just for withdrawals. I had an account like that about a year ago and I emptied it by sending money to myself as a friend and family free payment thing. Thanks for the info.

We have had reports in the last 3 weeks of this very issue.

Was mentioned in the paypal part of the forum.

Majority thought this to be yet another paypal glitch.
