How to deal with address confirmation by Mail?

Using publicly available databases, we were unable to match your address to the phone number you selected.
PayPal want to confirm my address by mail, which is a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address.
Is there any way I can deal with this? Or I will just wait for a 180 days llimitation?
Thanks you guys.

try calling them to see if there's anything they can do.

does confirm by mail just mean that they send you some mail, and you have to receive it? I'm being asked to confirm my address as well, but I used a false address. The address I used is right down the block from me though, so I can just go over and ask if any mail has come for me lol. Would that work?

if the neighbors are nice then maybe lol

If you use some vacant home, it might have a closed mailbox and if so then the mail would get returned.

baldricks cunning plan..

if it was sent to a genuine address where someone will get the mail, you could, slip a note through their door or post it, saying you know there has been a mistake about your post and you live at eg 12 chickenlittle road
and its gone to them at 12 chickenlittle drive,
leave your cellphone, say you are mr (whoever you put) and ask could they please call you if they get any post, and you would be so grateful etc etc, if its v important to you offer subtle financial inducement. say youve just moved (in case they offer to forward it) and could they just call you and leave it on their front step or concierge, for you to pick up (in case they think you are a weirdo).

I mean, if I got a message like that Id just ignore it and rip up the post, as I naturally suspicious but you might get lucky.

If I got something in the mail that's to some other name at my address, I'd throw it away. It's supposed to be illegal to open it anyway. I'd only get suspicious if some stranger goes up to me and says that a paypal confirmation letter was sent to my address and they want it.

^^ LOL i agree, but take your chances ronaldchecn, the worst has already happened, so go ahead and try it out

With me, sending the mail to a neighbor really wouldn't throw up any red flags. I live around university housing, so it's all college students, that move frequently, but stay around the same area. If I just gave the current residents a six pack, I'm sure they'd save it lol.
