After 180 day limitation, PP will not let me add bank.
 

So my PP has been limited for 180 days. Got an email a few weeks ago saying funds are available to be withdrawn. Finally got a chance to log on and add a bank to withdraw the money to, but when I try to add a bank it doesn't let me. It says:

"There’s a problem with your account. Please go to the resolution center so we can help you resolve this quickly."

I go to resolution and as per my limitation details it still says I cannot add/remove a bank.

Should I call PP or is this a new thing they do?

I have not heard of a limitation where it directly states that you cannot add bank information. You might want to call them and ask why. I would use the original number on the account to call in, so it will show up on their caller ID. If this is not possible, then use something like the SpoofCard so that you can make the caller-id show the number on file with PayPal. eBay and PayPal - I TRULY BELIEVE this, although I don't have proof - LOVE to see your number on their caller-id because it gives them confidence that the information on the account is real. Just use the local access numbers to dial in instead of the 800 numbers.

Hey Jeff,

When I look at the details of my limitation, it says I cannot add/remove a bank. I have seen this on all my limited accounts. The only difference this time is that they are not allowing me to add a bank after the 180 days.

I will need to look into the SpoofCard being as though I do not have the phone that was used when the account was opened. You have had success using spoof card? And where can I find the local access numbers? Thanks!

For this, I simply just called them and they allowed me to add a bank

i tried with spoofcard and they dont accept add new bank . they wanna me withdraw all money via Checks .

Then find another agent who will manually add the bank account.

Have a quick think of the issues of you get checks.

sbebeq, they wouldn't add a bank for you? That is very frustrating.

GreenBean, you think another attempt with a different agent will resolve this? I hope this isn't something new they're doing now.

I wanted to update you guys…

I finally got around to calling PP. I used the spoof card. The guy was cool, he let me add a bank and completely removed the limitation from my account so I can use it again.

Worked out well :)

This just happen again to all of my limited account that is after 180 days that is able to withdraw money

No need to revive an old thread when you already have a thread discussing your own issue - which does not relate to a US account. Especially considering the issue in this specific thread has actually been resolved.

Have problem to add bank with my us stealth limited account and canadian stealth limited account .they just disabled .called many times ,no help .

FYI hate to necro, but i have a paypal having this issue right now.. post 180 days. I will call them if i have to i guess.I don't feel like requesting a check and my mail lady maybe not deliver it. But, i may have to if they refuse to add the bank manually. I had to bitch at them to get the eligible to withdraw email to begin with .

Well try to add an other bank account if its not work you can withdraw your balance using

Debit or credit card. If the problem still not solved, I suggest you to contact paypal

customer center. Send them your all documents with proper name and adress
