What are my options for a stealth account when PayPal requests SSN or EIN?

Recently PayPal send the email that I need to provide a SSN or EIN. My question are:

1. Can I provide an EIN that I used in another account?
2. Would that mean both accounts get linked?
3. If so, what options do I have?

I'm sure this questions have been answered before but I couldn't find a definite answer. This thread could be deleted by the admin if is a duplicate.

You have two basic options.
1.) Dont do anything until after the 1st of January of the next year.
2.) Get an EIN and upgrade paypal to business and continue sales.

Do you have to provide a SSN to get an EIN? If so then wouldn't the tax man be all over you and your paypal account?

Ummmm....What?

YES you need an SS to get an EIN. That is only logical.

If you file and pay taxes what does that have to do with "The Tax Man"?
