Need help asap paypal limited and they want ss#
 

Hi Everyone how has eveyone been doing ive bought like almost 2 month ago the ebay stealth and i got back online and today i just logged on my ebay and it said i had log into paypal? so i did and my account is limited and it wants SS# and tracking info what im worried about is that ive used all ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info name and address what should i do now?? Im not worried about the ebay account but i want my money also i got a handfull of items on ebay to ship? should i put them on hold or what please im lost ive got $1000 dollars held up any ideas would be greatly appreciated PS Should i put my bro info with SS# to save my account? will that work also ive read all through this thread ive heard them mention about holding ya money for 180 days if i don't provide SS#

your best bet is (if that account isnt very significant) is to refund your buyers and abandon that account. There are ways round the social security, you can ask Modee for tech support

I was thinking the same. Your account will stay limited until you provide a valid ssn or a find a way round it. Best to abandon that account.

Got a Quick Question Can i Save my Paypal Account were its limited ok im gonna try to explain ok my paypal is limited of course and my ebay is still runnin ok ive got 1000 dollars stuck in my paypal ok you knew that already ok what if i change my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name in paypal to real name like my bro or wife thats never used paypal before and after that then go in and put there SS# would that save my account and remove the limited paypal account so i can get my money out asap!! if not ive read about the 180 day hold just curious do they give ya a choice direct deposit to ya bank account or Check by mail cause i was wondering if i should change info to correct anyway to make sure if they send it with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name atleast i can get it to me still to the correct address thanks

i dont think paypal allows you to change your name

If it's the first time they demanded SS#, some people have had success with calling them and constantly repeating that it's illegal to require your SS# and request they verify you some other way. This usually works only for the first time.

i have pp account with $8000 balance and has limited to day pp need ss# who can help me :(

If you are truly stupid enough to keep $8000.00 in a paypal account then you deserve to lose it for 6 months.
Call it a lesson learned.

no all the time i'm trading with 500~2000 my balance all the time is 4000 5000 but at this time pp need confirm ss# i don't have.
i don't know what way for that if no way so wait 6 month, it so long :(

Why would you risk moving so much money on accounts you cant backup?

If you can not provide PP with a SS# for the account name then the money is locked away for 180 days (6 months).
After the 180 days is up you will be able to electronically transfer the balance into your account on file with PP.
OR you can request a check be mailed to you.
Personally I leave the account on file open for those 180 days and then move it electronically.
That is what I do when I have a account get locked.

JUST A QUESTION:
let's say you get limited by paypal during the time frame that you sent in your merchant papers, will this affect whether you get approved or not? also, if you do get approved, would they lift the limits?

yea but if u keep creating accounts over the 6 months and they keep getting locked with a balance, you will constantly have income coming in. Thats one way to look at it.
