paypal linked question

so i got my 1st paypal account linked this was my real account that i abandoned a long time ago that still has a negative balance on it.

to another paypal account that is basically my buyers account on ebay so no big deal.

my question is would they use my second buyers account information such as bank account and credit cards to randomly charge for the 1st accounts negative balance without my permission?

I do not believe they would do this unless they were ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that both accounts were yours. Because if they DID and it turned out to be a JR/SR situation, or if they had the wrong person for ANY reason, they could have a legal problem and get a lot of bad publicity.

so its probably wise, that i shut down my bank account and credit cards and get issued new number for them just in case right?
