2 of my paypal account limited permanently, But Ebay still in good working order. I was not selling high risk items. used separate laptops, and dongles. and my money is stuck in there. gutted. 88angry98

I think they have started checks again...

You can look at alternative payment methods for eB like Skrill and Propay but tougher to get ppl to pay...

rsot STOP churning out about other payment alternatives, it's a waste of time for the amount of people that would even bother paying you that way.

People would of gone and already paid another seller via PayPal by then....:doh:

My paypal got limited today for *policy violation*, that I have 2 accounts, and they said that they have limited other Pp acc too... I have no idea what Paypal acc they linked me to, as I was only using one lol, 45 days hold on money

yes it can be appealed actually, if it doesnt say 'This limitation cannot be apealed' well then it can be apealed, doesnt mean it will be restored but there is a possibility

Were these accounts fully verified? What was the type of items you were selling?

yes all verified! some households items, and children clothing and shoes not branded.

FYI selling used children underwear, or something that looks like it (sport boxers, for example) is restricted.

Usually 180 days from when your paypal account was closed.

i think they're catching on slightly.

i dont think its the items i think its the account setup methods and more importantly the third party checks that are going on.

What are the Ages of the people your using on the accounts?

if your making accounts claiming your 40 odd, then when they ask a third party to do a credit check and you don't exist then there's a problem i guess, especially when an address doesn't match up.

At least you say 'think' because most of these people whom have had accounts shut down have had a manual review on there paypal accounts BECAUSE of what they are selling.. a whole range of brand name and high risk items. Not one has mentioned this on open forum..

If you choose to sell Adobe, Iphone, Branded clothing, Microsoft among other brands being listed as well as sending money repeatedly to other paypals (gift payments ) then you WILL get your account closed in a short space of selling.

That is the problem. selling replica's of an item does not make it safe. they are considered counterfeits.

phoned paypal today I spoke to a nice lady, who told me, it because they could not verified my info. it's not of the items i'm selling.

Be careful calling paypal, especially if you have money locked in the paypal account.

You also need to be careful When you list a cartoon item that is well known for example Disney Frozen, and you dont say the word DISNEY frozen, but you say they are by Angel then it looks ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Because everyone knows who owns the Frozen merchandise. (for example)
