Paypal Account Limited and requires docs, but no 180 limit?
 

Ok, so I have a paypal with my first name, and my mother's maiden name as the last name, and I lost the file containing the DOB details.

As I no longer have the DOB, I'm not sure what to do. It's been around 6 months since it was limited, but I have realised that was not a 180 day then i get my money back limitation.

Should i purposefully get the account limited by telling them the truth, because ATM i will never get my money back.

Account has ~$2000 in it.

Edit: I am 17, and it's an AU paypal.

Why do you need the date of birth?

Do not tell them the truth or they might be entitled to keep your money forever.

When i forget the date of birth on an account i log in and go to: The "business section" i think it is.. and it shows the date of birth there for some reason. And these are not business accounts.

Maybe different for your country but can't hurt to look.

If that fails. Call them and say you want to close the account and you're not giving them anymore personal information or documents and that its been 180 days and you are now getting a lawyer.

Just some ideas off the top of my head.

I have not seen DOB mentioned anywhere on the site :(

Yea, I know a couple of people who had this problem.
