I added about $500 to my Paypal balance, but can I get limited or frozen if I make a few purchases in one day?

No, i highly doubt paypal will suspend or freeze your funds for buying items.

If you start buying a bunch of 99 cent items to boost your feedback, then YES, it CAN happen. If you buy 10 big screen TV's, YES it CAN happen. Bur for ordinary purchases, it probably would not happen. So if you need a blender, or some car parts, go ahead and buy them. As long as your purchasing looks normal, you should be fine.

Yep, if your purchases look generic, nothing bad will happen.

He only wants to add 500$ so i dont think he'll be buying 50inch TV screens or something.

As stated above it would have to be something deemed highly suspicious activity.
