| | | boxseed | 01-02-2009 10:47 AM | ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address etc. need help.. i am going to use new accounts any idea of when i should pull my money out before they lock my account? the items i am selling runs about $400-$500 i am planning on selling 3-5 a week... i am just looking for a estimate of when paypal will limit my account |
| JohnnyBoy | 01-02-2009 12:29 PM | So, you are going to be selling $1200 - $1500 a week on new accounts? Don't sound like a good idea. I would say sell only one a week. |
| philly387 | 01-02-2009 12:31 PM | I have to agree with JohnnyBoy on this one. On new accounts you can't be selling quickly especially with big money like that per item. |
| boxseed | 01-02-2009 01:00 PM | i know they are going to limit my account... i just want to get a idea before they do it so i can take my money out... so it does not get stuck for 180 days |
| yaw1800 | 01-02-2009 02:40 PM | in the month and 6 days that have selling in one of my accounts, i have been limited twice, could possibly be that ive been pushing about $2.000 per week through those accounts. It really depends on if you are able to work around their limitations |
| coopster72 | 01-02-2009 04:01 PM | maybe a few days, maybe a few weeks. You never know for sure how long. Just withdraw your money every day. |
| TMiles | 01-02-2009 05:58 PM | whatever happened to letting an account age....if you are careful, there is no reason to plan on accounts being limited.
What we have here is a plan to fail.... |
| yaw1800 | 01-02-2009 08:51 PM | this was a new account and i dont have time to let it "age" .. i have others aging and i need money for right now.. bills dont wait |
| GreenBean | 01-02-2009 09:07 PM | ^^^ That was a general comment. Not specifically directed at you. About 11 months ago many newbies were letting their new accounts age. Funnily enough, these people are not coming back to say their accounts have been suspended or had a paypal limitation.
Over this time I, for one, have noticed that newbies are rushing into creating accounts, selling on these accounts then crying when the accounts fail. Why? Because there has been no planning. Yes, bills do not wait but with this ebay game we have to play, sometimes it is better to wait. Here's an example of a favorite of mine: using an unverified paypal account. |
| boxseed | 01-02-2009 09:53 PM | i am going to use a new/⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts cause i do not want to get sued for what i am selling... and if they limit the account i will not have a ssn# so its not a real name or nothing... just wondering the first time they limit you will they ask u for your ssn# and also... i was planning on making a new account every month any advice? |

Maybe the text made it seem the wrong way :p |
| NO ID | 02-10-2009 12:26 PM | yes you can open new accounts every month but if you really want to sell 3-5 a week then just have 3-5 accounts NOW and sell one item from each - dont make this "easily said than done" - its all in the book |
