Here is the email i got from paypal:
What should i do? If i call them, What kinds of question they may ask? Any suggestion will be greatful. Thanks

Your PayPal account has been limited because we've noticed a significant difference in the types of goods or services you are selling. As your payment processor, we need to better understand these changes and how they relate to your sales.

What does this mean?

This account limitation will affect your ability to:

send money
withdraw money
Additionally, you cannot:
remove any bank accounts
remove credit cards
close your account
What to do next

Please log in to your PayPal account and visit the Resolution Center before November 13, 2015 to provide the requested information. If we don't receive this information before November 13, 2015 or we notice additional significant changes in your account activity, your account access may be further limited.

Once we receive and review your documentation, we will email you regarding the status of your account.


They need i provide SSN, ID, Prove Of address, Invoice etc. I totally trapped. My question is my paypal register without a SSN and is under someone else's name. May i call them to change the paypal name so i can provide the info.

You will need to provide all the information they ask for and even if you provide all that they can still limit you.

It looks like you have a hard limitation and it will be extremely hard to get this resolved.

You can try and talk your way into upgrading to a business account and using an EIN instead of a SS# by it's a long shot

It sounds like there was some sort of a drastic change in what you were selling. What WERE you selling and what did you change to? I'm not asking for information on your ITEMS, but rather the CATEGORIES.

My account opened at 2012, i never use it until this month. At the beginning of this month i was selling clothes, i receive around 500 dollar. Then i start sell electronic device and clothes together 3 days ago. Then paypal limit my account. Thanks. However my ebay account is in good condition. I totally lost everything i had so far. 3 PAYPAL ACCOUNT GOT LIMIT. Dame, i should withdraw money earlier. Now, i don't even have money to start over.

You may try to unlink the limited paypal and use a fresh new paypal with ebay with new fresh ip if you want to continue business with the same ebay account.

HORRENDOUS thing to do. The new PP you attach will get BANNED after first major sale. :spy::peace::shhh::mad::mad:

I decide to surrender myself. Because that paypal has almost $2000. paypal ask for invoice, ID, SSN, Address proof. I bought some cheap electronic from china such as the car charger, phone case, speaker. Since my supplier didn't give me invoice so I have to make up a invoice to give it to paypal. I will keep post if something changed. Thanks
