$10,000 soft limit for EIN (PLEASE READ)
 

Ok so I know talking to reps its hit or miss when it comes to actual factual statements.

I was talking to a rep, more so yelling at a rep about getting limited from paypal for the EIN. It's hard sometimes to keep your cool when you have alot of accounts and reps tell you things contradictory things that on say account A they wouldn't.

I was talking to this rep and I was basically telling him that since I'm not really that close to the limit why am I not able to receive any type of payments. He checked my amount in sales for this account and I was around 11 grand. I said okay well to my knowledge its 20K not a 11K limit. Long story short he gave me a couple reason why...

The bank privacy act
10K in sales
Money laundering

I know I'm not limited because of the bank privacy act or money laundering its obviously because of the 200/20k limit their excuse is just to get our S.S. I mean when you call they ONLY say we need your SOCIAL and bypass their own policy. Of course I realize they can limit any account at anytime and ask for this but i'm limited because of the 200/20k limit "projection".

Anyone think this is possibly true?

It could be something very useful for us in stealth if it is. I've had 3 accounts including this one that has gotten the limitation from paypal because of projection sales but only this one past 10K in sales has gotten the limitation of not being able to receive funds.

I've had accounts go past 10k without getting the request. What I've noticed works best for me is rotating through a lot of accounts. Where I'll use one account for a week then switch to another and keep the process going.

And I have so many stealth accounts that it could be a good 2-3 months before I go back to another account etc

Suppose I have a good problem but I keep running out of accounts. My business as increased alot over the past couple months and only keeps increasing. I had accounts but they're used up because of projection limits by Paypal.

I'll be fine next year but naturally right now is when my sales are supposed to increase just from more site activity. So its even more of an increase haha. It's these silly projections they make and can't overturn because of their bots. Silly how they have it set up..

They have more confidence in a computer than a human's decision.

How fast you got to that 11k in sales is probably why they did it. Might want to slow down and rotate accs.


Only way to do what your trying to do is run a crap ton of accounts or get an ein.

Yeah well its been steady sales from May - Now.

I called in and maybe got lucky but the rep had no problem adding the EIN with me over the phone. Of course you have to explain why you don't want to add the social (which is easy).


He added the EIN then I upgraded to business just to be on the safe side in the future. I did have to enter my DOB and last 4 of S.S which I just entered the last 4 of the EIN.

Working so far.

What do you mean "instant" withdrawls? I'm not sure if you're joking because it takes so long or does verifying something automatically like bank of america using your username and password actually speed up your withdraw rate as opposed to using the two small deposit methods?

Remember that you could always add EIN and still stay under 20k a year...

And worth adding is Paypal is known to make note of PROJECTED sales rate too...
