Getting £1000 out of my PayPal account in 4 weeks?
 

Hi everyone,

This is my second thread now :) I have an old PayPal account which has been limited for 5 months now.

What are my odds of getting my money out in the next 4 weeks? As it will be 180 days then. It has just over a £1000 in their.

The problem with this account is it's linked to 3 other PayPal accounts and PayPal want me to resolve those issues but I can't as don't know passwords to those old accounts.

Has anyone been in a similar situation to mine before it yes what was your outcome?

Great question by James - are the in the negative with PP meaning you owe money...?

I was able to log into one of those accounts which is linked to the account with a £1000 in.

This one account linked to the £1000 account needs this information

Confirm your bank account
Photo ID
Proof of Address
Provide Invoices
Supplier Contact Info
Validate your Account Information
Provide business information
Provide proof of delivery

Please resolve issue with related accounts. Your account is linked to another account with unresolved issues. If you have an eBay account or another PayPal account, log in to your account to resolve any problems.

I can't log into those accounts so I don't know the reason for it.

It doesn't look likely that I'm going to get this money back does it?

I was also able to log into this account as well

this account wants the exact same information as the one above.

I can't log into the other account tho

Don't post your Paypal email addresses publicly you fool, unless you want Paypal to permanently lock your account

I dont use those PayPal email accounts anymore. The accounts are old and are linked to my £1000 paypal account which I also don't use and have not put the email address down. I'm just asking for some input on my situation and trying to make it as simple as possible for people with knowledge and are willing to help me.

Once 180 day cross do one thing just call paypal and disown all the account and then withdraw it the money easily

So if I call PayPal in a months time and say something a long these lines..

Hi i'm just calling about my PayPal account it's been limited for 180 days and i've been told after 180 days I will be able to withdrawal the money I have in their. Well it's been 180 days now and I've tried to withdrawal my money but it's not letting me.

If they say I havn't resolved issues with my 3 accounts, I just say well the reason I havn't resolved those issues is because I have nothing to with those accounts.

Is this a good thing to say to PayPal?

It will depend on how solidly linked you are to the other 3 accounts

If they know without a doubt that you are linked then they are not going to release funds, especially if you own money on the other PayPal accounts

The 2 accounts are not in negative balance and are asking for a lot of information mentioned above. I don't know about the 3rd account as I don't know the password and can't recover it.

Because I'm not in the minus will their be a chance for me to get the money?

I have emailed them just a minute ago so hopefully I'll get a response and I will be able to get this money out.

There is always the chance that they may not release the funds.

If you get the notice to withdraw, just call and ask them to add your bank to the account. Do not explain anything to them.

The longer you are on the phone with them the more time you give them to look into the account.

Just be blunt: "Please add my bank, keep getting a loop"

We never put info from suspended accounts on open forum. We try to he everyone stay stealth.

Unless you resolve the issues of your linked accounts, you have a low likelihood of funds being released at all OR even earlier.
Also hold off telling porkies to paypal. They are not stupid.

Ok I'll bare that in mind in the future no worries. I'll never be able to resolve all 3 accounts but the 3 are under a different name to the PayPal with the £1000 in, so maybe I might have a chance as I could deny the other 3 accounts and pretend I don't know anything about them.

I have funds in my account which I can't withdrawal. My account has been limited for 5 months.

I understand your concern, but i'm determined that my account DOES NOT pose a risk for the credit card issuers and the buyers.

I understand the risk for chargebacks, and i'm willing to leave some money on the account.

Please get back to me and help me withdrawal my funds in my PayPal account.

This PayPal was limited a long time ago because it was linked to a few old suspended accounts a long time ago. I didnt really know what I was doing back then.

I was able to get my money out with in 5 months tho so before 180 days :)
