PayPal limited then all transactions put on hold...
 

Hi all,

A stealth PayPal account of mine was recently limited and shortly after PayPal placed a hold on all 53 transactions that came via eBay claiming that they suspected all the payments were unauthorised. (Which is total rubbish).

As such this has sent my account into a £1.5k negative balance. Cases have been raised for each transaction asking me to supply details about each transaction. The status of each case shows as "Being Reviewed by PayPal" and has been like this for the last 10 days.

Has anyone ever experienced this before and did you get your money back?

OP said they are ebay transactions...which is really odd, never heard of this.

what mess if cases are opened too.

Were the transactions from (bonafide) customers or "something different"

Was he buying between his accounts.

This sounds like a LOT of cases being made by the PP system - something must have triggered a huge flag....in your case, unless you explain more about the type of sales OP...I would reckon that the account is dead

All of the eBay transactions are from genuine buyers.

The account is in fact already limited with 180 day hold which is fine but my concern it all these cases. Since posting I have had an email from PayPal saying that "Our Investigation is Complete" for two of the cases and those funds are now available however I still have 51 transactions with open cases.

Really bizarre - never had this with any stealth account.

I have never heard of anything like this before.

You must have really upset paypal with what you were selling.

That was my initial thought, but the sums don't seem to add up.

No it wasn't hoverboards lol.

I was selling computer software which I know is a very high risk item however I have been selling the same product across tons of accounts and never had this issue before.

Fingers crossed they won't reverse all the payments back.

In a way, we are kinda family here.....

Might have helped to have shared this tit-bit from the start.....

Saw this happen a few years ago. Accounts selling "software" tumbled....
They tumbled like London Bridge falling down.

Be prepared.

it will took 7 days and all the transaction will reversed and u will have negative balance on your accounts ...
