treasury account analyst ????

i got a payment on my paypal that says 5.05 was sent to treasury account analyst ? but when i click in it it says payment went to ebay shipping inc. is this normal or is it something to do with taxs cause there asking for a dang tax id on this paypal which its stealth so i cant provide it.

I paid my seller fees on one of my accounts this morning and noticed the same thing. In paypal summary it said "Treasury Department" or something like that, but in the transaction details it said "ebay inc." It is probably some kind of accounting change eBay has made for 2016.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who saw this...

Also heard about this thing. I guess their analyst is getting salary based on "gimme 5 usd from every 1000th transaction" :D
