Paypal said would discontinued business with me, please help!
 

Hi guys, I'm in Canada. My ebay account was taken down for selling itunes card, it was my first time selling that and I only put one card on it. My feedback was 100% and I have 24 scores. Now my ebay account is not registered. Ebay emailed me that i have to resolve this in paypal's resolution center. I logged into my paypal, but there is no option for me to upload documents or anything else. And I phoned paypal, they directed me to a so called specialist, that guy wouldn't explain anything. He just said your account is high risk. And I asked him what do you mean by high risk, he said he won't explain. And he said paypal would discontinue doing business with me. I also have $200 USD in that account, he said I have to wait 180 days if nobody file dispute against me,then I can get the money back. Is there any faster way that I can get my money back?

My other ebay accounts are fine, but some of them are linked to this paypal, so I don't think I can sell any more in those accounts.I already deleted all the linked paypal address in those accounts, if I link them to another one, is that ok?

I've read ebay stealth. I'm using cable internet, I called my service provider and they told me that they only give one IP, so even I unplug and plug the modem back on,my IP is still the same.

I bought a VPN sevice, I got couple of IPs, but the IPs are very close, the last 3 digits are like 150, 151,152. And I checked the IP location is in Toronto. My location is in Edmonton. If I open new accounts with this Toronto IP and put Edmonton address, will this be a problem to me????

you must did something wrong that is why paypal limited your account for 180 days. If they denied your appeal, then there is nothing you can do.

You can use a router to change your IP address. I am using cable too, simply using a router to change your MAC address, then your ip will be different. Dont ever use VPN service on Paypal and ebay, you will be suffer from that.

I'm using a router at home because I have 2 computers, I tried unplug the modem and rounter,but the ip stays the same. Do I need a 2nd router to change IP?

no 2nd router. What brand router do you have?

try to renew ur ip address first, if that doesn't work, change your MAC address

I actually called my internet service provider,they said only give me one static ip and if i want to change ip,it has to be done on their side. I tried SMAC to change mac address by entering the MAC ID that I found on the back of my router(D-Link,non-wireless), then I pressed "update"... i rebooted my computer and found my ip still the same? is there a better way for me to change Mac? I've searched around the site, and I don't quite understand, somebody said "log into your router", how do i log into my router? i'm sorry, but can you please help me out? thank you....

i found a thread by using "Macshift", is this a better way to change my mac?

If you have a static ip you can't change it on your own. If you can get a dynamic ip address then you can change it.

so right now what is my best option? dial-up or vpn?

all the vpn service provider i can find, the ip addresses they provide are located in toronto. too far away from me

Dial up would be much better for stealth accounts
