is there any one who know how can I upgrade my limited personal pp account to business
I am sure it can be do, but I don't know how
could you help me pls

You cannot make those changes once your account is limited. Even if you could upgrade to business, you still be limited. UNLESS you was limited because you hit the 200 item/$20,000 threshold that requires a SSN, EIN, ITIN.

I am currently limited as well and looking to upgrade to business with my EIN. I get this error when I try "You can't upgrade your account to a business account because it is limited. We'll help you resolve the issue."

Is there any way to get around this without calling them?

Can I start a new business PP account with a new address, then attach my eBay account to that instead of my personal PP?

Sure you can, the telling question would be how fast will the new one get limited. Hey that's a good idea for a pool to bet on... What time slot this week will the new PP account go down.:bounce:

I just did it by selecting "Add Social Security Number" from the three options.

I added my EIN instead of my SSN. PP said "Thank you for providing this information, we will contact you if we need any additional info"

My PP was then no longer limited. I then went to Upgrade to Business, and completed the upgrade before PP came back with anything seeming amiss.

No kidding, so you weren't really limited, just up against the 200/20,000 limit, there is a difference. :bump:

You will really know it when they hit you with a request for every document known to humankind, and they still say that's its not good enough. Promising first born doesn't work either.:comp5:

Yeah... they told me I can't upgrade due to being "Limited," but I get what you're saying about them being different.

I found it pretty ridiculous that PP requested that I provide Tax info, gave me the option to add an EIN (and that I would be required to upgrade to Business), and when I selected that option, then told me that I couldn't upgrade due to being limited... WTF?

Well since on the top of PP limit I am probably going to start hitting higher numbers on my main, so I guess before there is a chance of hitting a limitation on the account I should just go ahead and make into a business account?

Or how would it work out if I just make a completely new separate business account since will be selling new/more stuff soon.
