Negative balance, paypal will contact me?
 

I have -$1800 balance on my paypal

i sold item but buyer claim and get back his money (scammer)

I already withdrawl money on my real bank account

It is st** account with st** information & CC. Only bank account is real my info.

I just curious something. There is no way to cover my balance by credit card (stealth), and bank account (no money anymore)

Paypal will contact bank company and make me pay?

I lived in Korea,south and my account with my location information

What was the claim for? Did you fight it off or try? How come you didn't win?

buyer just open case item is not described. I dont have any way to prove it so i lost my money

Well - I will assume you speak the truth - rough to hear.

Anyhow, on what platform is your PP? Is it in your real info?

PP may go and dip into your bank account...

They will send emails to resolve your negative balance and call the number you have on file.

Wow, tread carefully from here. Like dmshark said they will try to contact you a few times first, but then they will attempt to draft the money from your back account. They will likely try to draft the money multiple times to cover your debt, which will cause multiple overdrafts if you don't have the money in the bank.

I am not going to say to run away with the money.

But if you dont want overdraft charges I would close that bank account. Paypal will have nowhere to withdraw from.

Yup, you should probably empty and close that bank account...

Anyway, does anybody know if paypal takes any legal action trying to "figure out" the
person standing behind negative balances?
Or everything ends up by them trying to draft money from bank account or CC?

Close the bank account and that will be the end of it.
The only thing they have to go on is the info of the bank account owner and in order to get that they would need a court order. To get a court order they'll need to go through the legal system and that will cost them more than what you owe them.
I dont recommend this sort of action but seeing as paypal are the only ones getting the shaft here I have no moral issue with it - not with the millions of people they've done worse to over the years.

they will send a legal notice and make sure you keep the item sent receipt so can show them or mail it back to them , JUST TO PROVE YOU ARE NOT GUILTY

Needless to say, I suppose you know that this paypal account will be toast

They will call your around 3 times a day and they will leave you voicemail's

Other than that...if you block their number they will try again from different ones BUT after 2 months they will give up
