Urgent help on paypal $1000 limitation
 

I have successful created paypal account to collect fund. However, my paypal always get limited when total received fund amount around $1000. I use many methods to away this problem, such as: open multiple paypal account with fresh VM and VPN to diversify the loading; expand the received funding pattern to 4 months; stop receiving fund and back to receive the fund after 4 month, etc. No matter what I do, it seems my account will be limited once total amount reach/around $1000.

I am almost be mad and frustrated and my business have no way to move since each paypal account will die when total amount reach $1000 and each paypal need different telephone number, bank account, credit card, home address, etc...

My situation is very urgent and I am looking forward to your help !!!

When it hits 1k, are they asking for documents, whats the issue?

When reach $1000, They ask me to input Tax ID or SSN, which I can not provide. So, I have to give up. Suppose to be 200/$20000. Do I have something wrong to get early asking?

It can be requested on projection. If $1k is being spread out over 4 months then it would seem odd that your getting the request

You can just supply them with an EIN though and be on your way

Asking is different than forcing. I get asked every year to add my tax id. You learn the system and how much you can sell and how fast to make and entire year without a restriction.

Projected sales are looked at by paypal. If needed tax info is requested.

What actually stops you supplying this?

Are you not based in the US?

Yes, I am US based seller and sell some small stuff at ebay. I have created multi steal paypal account with different IP and machine. Each account is asked SSN while sale amount around $1000. In order to spread the sale , I switch the account every 2 weeks, however, the paypal account is still asked SSN.

Do I miss some steps which alert paypal ?

are you receiving this $1000 over a few months or is it 1 transaction?

I sell small value item and less than $10 for each item. about 100 item to reach $1000. All these sale take 1 months to 4 months. The paypal account is switch between all the availables.

Even sales takes 4 month, I am still be asked for SSN when total amount is around $1000

almost always at about 130 items you will get asked. Now way around that unless when you get around 100 items, list 100+ auctions all ending the same day about the same time.

you need to simply do less volume on the accounts

use multiple accounts at once. you're selling 100 items in two weeks. that is NOT GOOD

my items are about $200 and I'm able to sell $1000-$2000 for the first month, 1500-2500 for the second, 2000-3000 for the third on multiple accounts safely.

@OP, read around the concept of EIN on the forums to establish business accounts. True, good point to spread sales and remain "under the radar" but learn about that option to help with account management

ah, yep, spread out your sales between MORE accounts.

As others have said, "you need to simply do less volume on the accounts"

OR apply for an EIN and attach it to your account..

Those are your options.
