Paypal Limited. Need Help/Advice
 

"A recent review of your account detected suspicious activity regarding the receipt or withdrawal of funds. While we investigate this matter, access to your account is limited."

I'm not using Stealths, these are my main accounts. I have a PayPal Premier account. I think the main reason why I even got into this mess was because of Unauthorized Transactions/Chargebacks.

I sell mostly Electronics/Computer Parts (Popular Items)

I've had my PayPal account for about 10+ years. In the last 60 days, I've done a little over $100k in sales which is pretty large considering before that I was doing between $20-30k monthly. I've been buying/reselling for the last 2 years without 0 issues.

Anyways, PayPal asked for Supplier Info/Invoices and I told them I don't have a steady supplier. I buy lots/bulk eBay/PayPal/Craigslist. I did however provide Cash Receipts, PayPal Invoices I've paid for over the months but that didn't hold up. I've also sent in pictures of inventory to prove the items are in my possession.

I'm a Power Seller on eBay, Aged Account. I have thousands of transactions, 800+ Feedback. I've gained over 200+ Feedbacks in the last few months for the products I've been selling. But apparently I'm a high risk to PayPal. My eBay account is in great standing.

I spoke with a Woman 2x over at the Merchant Department Team who is handling my case. She said she would put another request in to review my account. The first time we talked she was a bit much, basically interrogating me like I'm a criminal.

Sorry to hear OP. Hopefully they can allow you to reuse your account again. 10 years huh? Wow. Scary to think that EVERY PayPal will get limited sooner or later due to stupid chargebacks and making more money. I don't understand why they ban good accounts. What's even worse is that we as sellers do everything right by sending the product they bought and the scum of the earth decide they want to screw us over by saying "Hey it wasn't me to who ordered this!" When it clearly was!!!, Those useless disputes/chargebacks are what get good accounts limited..... Most of us need PayPal to pay our bills!

I talked to a supervisor today and everything he told me felt scripted. I asked how come I wasn't warned with a phone call or email that my account could be compromised with a big increase of sales.

Yup, 10 Years longtime member. Right when I had a big increase on Sales they decide to "Part Ways" Limit my account. It's very depressing.

Familiar story that has happened to many here.
Its a crappy feeling to have go through it but unfortunately there isn't much you can about it - once they decide to drop the hammer on you that's all there is to it. Dont hold your breath on getting that account back.
I know its not what you want to hear but you need to face the facts and you need to start getting back on your feet by getting into the stealth business - this is the reason the majority of people came here to begin with.

That's too bad.... Sad how they ruin people's lives over nothing. They're making more money so why do they do this? They don't care about anyone honestly.

Welcome to the forums - sad to hear about your story but it isn't rare unfortunately....lots of us have had this kind of issue. Moving forward, learn stealth and do NOT rely only on 1 account for your operations.

As for this:

Refrain from doing that within 1 day - allow people to naturally respond. This kind of statement turns some people off.
