2500 EUR limit exceeded. PayPal account blocked
 

Hi guys!
I live in Ukraine. Recently I've had significant problems with paypal. A half of year ago they restricted my account due to exceeding 2500 EUR limit in total payments to my Paypal account in last calendar year. I didn't know about that limitation in their rules and that one should give some identity proof to have his account unlocked in that case - so I registered it as stealth acccount. I apologized and explained them many times it was a mistake and that I could get and send them my new Ukrainian foreign passport for my identification to be done. They said OK. This week I got my new Ukrainian foreign passport and sent them a copy of it. Yesterday I received the email from them where they informed me my surname in my passport was not like that indicated in my paypal account and that they decided to close it for security reasons. That's the story! What are they going to do with my money? But I have significant sum on this paypal account. I asked them to transfer those sum to another paypal account but still no answer received.
What more can be done on this matter in your opinion?
P.S. In two weeks there will be 180 days since my paypal account is restricted. Can I expect it will be unlocked? Any comments appreciated

The Account won't get unlocked but you can withdraw the remaining amount on a bank account

Two questions for you:

Did paypal tell you when they closed the account, the funds would be released?

Did paypal tell you when they would be released?


You may find that your 180 days of limitation will start from that notice of parting ways you just got.

paypal will not care it took months to sort out everything about the account.

This account is finished.

You need to start again doing correct stealth.

Why did you send a passport with a different name to PayPal? Did you think they'd not notice?

Alas, they know my real name. I told them and asked to accept my ID with the other name than in my account. They agreed first. But later they changed their mind...

So do you believe there is no sense to wait for 180 days are over?

I have a question to you: "Building a back up account" - what does this mean?

180 days of suspension is over. The account's still locked. What have I to expect now? Uploading the new ID document resulted in nothing.

Make back up accounts that you could now be using if you had created/bought them when the idea was suggested to you first time round. Read around this forum if you don't know what back up accounts are, that why the forum is here so that you can read up and learn.

Doubt you'll be seeing that money again after admitting to making a account in a fa ke name lol dafuq did you do that for?

I explained them that was done by MISTAKE. Where my money will go if they close the account? But I can add no bank accounts.
Can I bring them to court? Or they are beyond the law?

paypal know every story there is

And stories not known yet.

They do not like what you tried to tell them so they save themselves.

The law will do nothing for you.

Its supposed to go to the government but never seen them mention that so I dunno.
And no you've made an account in a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, its the law that they have to ask for ID and you've just admitted to making a fa ke account so doubt the law will help you out much

If it's under a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, it's not really YOURS anymore, since if your name is bob, and the name on the account is tom, it's tom's money not yours and if the personal isn't real well what real reason could you give for not wanting to provide your real information to them while loading a lot of money on the account?..

I DO want and provide my real information. I have nothing to hide. I'm not a thief. I've earned that money in a honest way. They have addresses, names and emails of companies and agencies that payed me for my job. Those companies could confirm my name. The problem is Paypal team wants to do nothing to find it out and they don't accept my real information.

Now I've created new paypal account and they ask me to provide online ID and passcode of my bank account to confirm it. How should I react? Are they crazy guys?
