Paypal limited, need tips/sharing experiences?.

Hi, I have another post but that was a little too long so I will write something shorter.

- Our account got limited after 3-4 years, business account because of too many claims. Buying only, no selling, about 1000-1200 items in 3 years.

We opened new buying only account with the following new (stealth account?):

VCC was used for verification.
New mail addresses.
New browser (Cookies cleared).
New routers (new IP addresses).
New sim card with new phone number.
Random address, not far from out real address.

We used a random address and then added our real address as 2rd address.
This account got limited too after a phone call to talk about our old account (other phone number, I think they linked address).

We created a new account with again everything new, except now we used prepaid creditcard instead of new bank acc instead of VCC and a postbox company and random name.

I have the following questions:

- Can Paypal link accounts by digging into the new creditcard numbers?
(RESOLVED: Issue can't be the name, PayPal can't see the name associated to the CC)
- Is there a buying limit when verified? (for now 1 item every day, max 150 dollar, we take it slow and want to up the payments step by step).

Any general tips would be appreciated to sustain this account, I really do not want to be limited again.

What do you mean with "buying only account" with too many claims?

It sounds like you were over-claiming for "item not received"... is it right?

Digging into new cc numbers? No...not unless you reuse the cc...which you shouldn't.

Not sure on buying limit for pp account - in which country is yours based?

It was multiple, for returning items and for items not received. But all genuine and nothing off the record/grey area. (legit claims, all with tracking and supporting evidence when something was wrong).

This CC is new and never been attached to Paypal. But the name on the card (which we did not enter anywhere) is known to paypal for limitation. We are in the Netherlands/Europe.

Issue can't be the name, PayPal can't see the name associated to the CC.

You might be linked by this: then added our real address as 2rd address

Yes thats our suspicion as well, the odd thing was that this limitation was triggered within 10-20 minutes after calling with support to argue about our old account. (this was still being revised by a "manager"). It seems that our conversation triggered the urge to dig into our old account. (perhaps because of my choice of words?) It proves again that Limited accounts should be abandoned and calling is most likely not going to help.

We did call with the old number attached to the old account. We now have used a Postbox company with no links back to any old addresses and a total different name. This works so far and we received our first new parcels yesterday.
I am glad PayPal cannot see the name associated to the CC.

Does anyone have any additional information on how to build up an new-steady buying account?

- Buying amount?
- Buying price?
- Time before increasing these variables? (After 3 months account is not flagged as "new" anymore?)
