Personal Paypal Permanently Limited - Can I Create Business One Now?
 

Hi guys,


Okay so its been around 2 years now since I got my personal paypal perma limited. I've written e-mails to them tons of times, called them around 10 times and nothing helps.


My problem is, I started my own business around 2 months ago, and 90%+ of my clients only use paypal, which makes me loose tons of customers.

I've been wondering if its possible for me to create a Business Paypal in a friends, or familys name, but in my own business name?


Does anyone know anything about this? Is it illegal? Sorry if thats a dumb question but I dont wanna get in trouble :noidea:

Try to get on your own name as you allow one personal and one business account

If not then don't use family friends name just use random

I wouldn't use a friends name. Just go stealth completely. Sign up for an EIN number and make it under a business name.

Anyone else got any input on this? Multiple people suggested me to just open a business account, saying im allowed to have one personal, and one business.

But paypal wrote in the email I got when they limited my account, they said that they would no longer provide me with their service. So I guess thats not going to work?

Can you give us a copy of actual statement PayPal gave you so we can critique and advise?


Also, if you sign up for an EIN number, on the PayPal process, there still is a page that asks for the last 4 digits of your SSN.

Not sure how you get around that except to give that number correctly.
