US Paypal Limited $15k, what are my options?
 

Just got the dreaded email from paypal and it read:

"Your PayPal account has been limited because we've noticed significant changes in your account activity. As your payment processor, we need to understand these changes better"

Had been using the account for 6 months building it up, but recently sold a bunch of cosmetics, which apparently there are a lot of knock offs of. This is a stealth account so the it's not under my name. They are requesting photo ID, bank statements, supplier invoices, and shipping confirmations.

Obviously I cannot provide the ID and bank account with matching names. I heard there is a guy that can but he's on vacation until September. I have yet to ship out the items because I am afraid if I ship them out and I can't get my money this will be a $15k loss i cannot afford to take.

I heard after 180 days you can withdraw your money but have seen some threads here that say they couldn't after 180 days. Is this even if you provide them with 0 information they requested, because it seems to indicate after Sept. 25th I will not be able to do anything with the account.

Should I just refund the buyers and try to sell my stuff elsewhere? How big of a gamble is this on shipping out 15k worth of stuff. Odds I'll get my money after shipping eventually from paypal?

not many cases where people cannot withdraw their funds if they keep their bank open

I would recommend fulfilling the orders and withdrawing in 180 days

So even if I send them none of the documents they requested, they will still release the funds? Sounds like not only do they want to verify who I am but also that the items are not bootleg.

think your making up $15K lol, to sell $15K in cosmetics, where things sell $10-$50 each, you'd have to sell a ton, and paypal would of limited you long before $15K.

anyways to answer your question, if you can get that same amount or close to it with ease, than go else where to sell.

the people that had problems taking money out either sold fak3s or sent b/s documents and lived outside the US.

if you send legit docs they will keep ban and give you your money after 180 days.

i am 100% sure you made up $15k, because with $15K they would ask for SSN or tax ID, not just photo ID.

I have a limited account that has nearly 15k in it. no SSN or tax ID request.
