EIN sole proprietor
 

I have a paypal with stealth name and address which is not my address either.
I want to know if IRS would give me problems if I put my EIN(sole proprietor).
Because paypal just submits all the info on the tax docs to IRS.
Will I need to explain to IRS later on who jane doe living at xxx is and why is she using my EIN (Im a guy)

you need to make your ein llc with a biz name .. then if you go over 20k pp will send out a 1099 at the end of the year , It is important that you get the 1099 and its not returned to pp .. I forward my stealth mail to my real address then i just get a 1099 from pp under ur ein and biz name .. And pretty sure if you make a sole proprietor ein pp can see name on the ein .. need to do little research before entering this ein into pp

Also if you have already made a ein and you need to make another u must put more than one employee down when it asks for amount of ppl in the llc or it will reject it i just put 2 in the number box

When my 1099k was issued paypal,they put the stealth name on my forms.
Then later I just put my real name with my ein when filing tax forms.
I don't know whether the irs got the stealth name

You must have gotten a ein not as a llc then they see your real name way i understand it .Then sent it to you in your stealth name and not your biz name of your llc . Am i wrong ?

Yes paypal issued the forms to my stealth name and address.
the ein was on my name and not business llc.

How long does it take to convert from Sole to LLC? Are we required to mail in documents?
