Can you be a little more specific?

What limitations do you have on PayPal? Can you send/receive money? Or is it just the "provide tax info and you are unable to close account"?

Only way is to add what they are requesting.

There is no way to remove this request for SSN/EIN as it is not up to paypal but rather a requirement by the IRS.

You haven't given more specifics, but my situation:

I was given the tax ID question on first of page. My sales for year is $6,000 for the year, but I just had a $3000 month which I think triggered that Tax ID note.

I am unable to receive money and close account. However, I was able to WITHDRAW money.

I withdrew the money and will wait until January 1, 2017 to see what PayPaL does.

I have inquired on a thread if I should just add another new fresh Paypal account (with same stealth information) and link it with my eBay account. some people say go for it, some other people say go for it but it will eventually be linked, other people say just wait until it resets in 2017, other people say just sell entirely new...

So unless we know what limitations you have, this is my situation and I'm not sure if it is similar to yours
