Paypal acc limited - $1k stuck.. Help me to recover!!
 

Hello!

Here's my story:
I was succesfully selling on Ebay before, with my own data on paypal and ebay. Unofrtunatelly they were trademark items, and after a few warning, i got banned from Ebay, and stopped it.

Some months later I changed my mind, and started doing ebay again. I purchased a very aged ebay account with 800+ feedback, and made a new paypal attached to it, with false info.

Things were good, but now I'm around $1k on my Paypal, and they limited my account. I'm doing droppshipping, with medium risk items, price range is $80-$100. Sold only a few items yet, but they still limited me.

Please help me what could I do in this situation.

You said that you created a new PayPal (with false info), was it the same info on the eBay account you bought (same person/business)?

If that's the case, the only way you can lift this limitation is by providing PayPal what they are asking for, regarding the business information you can explain that you are a sole trader and not selling as a real business (hopefully you can convince them). But other requested documents should be provided (ID and proof of address with the same info on the PayPal account, as well as the invoices and delivery proof. You need to be creative and provide docs with matching info to PayPal) otherwise the limitation couldn't be lifted...

The info on PP and Ebay are not the same. So first of all I need to make the info to match on both accs, then provide them the docs(ID's).
I'm not a business, just a sole trader as you said. Should I send in a handwritten document with sigature about it?
What about delivery proof? They accept just the tracking number? I don't have any docs since I'm dropshipping!

Yes i hadn't too yesterday i got documents from my dropshippers and sent them fax, we will see what will happen. Paypal is really funny company they dont trust dropshippers, in front of them you are a liar.

Even if you manage to submit these documents, they will hit you with new portion of requirements. Phone call will not help either, you will explain to rep he will say yeah that is fine, good but we have to pass it to our security department. Few hours later you will recieve email requesting more and more documents http://oi66.tinypic.com/wtdndl.jpg

Rule of Thumb: Never leave this much $ in a PayPal account or more than you can afford to lose. You really only need enough to cover 2-3 returns if they were to happen. You will probably never get this money back, I have tried and it seems they always want to keep verifying more and more information.

When I used to get accounts limited, I would just refund my customers and let them enjoy the free item. I'd rather my customers have the money than PayPal.

Yes, it's possible that you may never get your money out of PayPal even after 180 days!!

If you provide what they are asking, there's a chance that you will regain control of your account. But don't get your hopes up.

What do you do about a credit card statement if it's a VCC? Fabricate one?

Yes i made it myself(it is still in progres for 20 days), but even they accepted it will request something else. I gave up. but still keep accepting payments(20k euros already in the account) and waiting for permanent limitation to hit and 180 days period to start counting:ranger:.

ID, supplier contact info, ect

but u have only 50 % chance resoted account, many times paypal can't be appeal, and closed account.

Can we link another paypal account to our old account where the paypal is limited and start selling ? Will i be able to withdraw funds if i do so ?

Forget this account, too many requirements. Call them and try to get the requirements down.

Now if you don't send any documents , after 45 or 180 days paypal ask do this, because many security changed in paypal.

Call in see if you can talk them out of some of the requests . Play dumb ask why you need all of these and you are a honest person and this is messing you up here at christmas season . if they dont buy it wait 45 days call again ..

If you dont send any docs just wait 45 days call in see if they will unlock if not wait the 180 days get your funds out .. if you do send in any docs make sure you save them just in case they demand them again after the 180 days .. Thats why its better not to send in anything and just try to talk them into letting you get your money out and be done with paypal . .
Also if your waiting the days out , log in ever few weeks to keep the cookies active so you dont run into other problems after the 180 day wait ..
There is a few on here that can NOT even log in to their accounts after the 180 day wait cause of this . good luck and let us know the outcome
