yesterdaywas | 03-15-2009 01:25 PM | Paypal new policy So with paypal having a new policy where they will run a credit report when you open a new account, how would you then open a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay account now?
I mean if you open a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay account you have to do the same thing with paypal so it can match... but now if paypal runs the credit report after you open the account then it wouldn't work anymore.....
Has anyone tried opening a new ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account after the new policy came out? And if you did....Did they run the credit report....I'm just wondering about this because then the stealth book wont help much then.... |
lakeman | 03-15-2009 01:49 PM | When did this policy happen? I have heard nothing about it yet. |
RobFagles | 03-15-2009 02:13 PM | Paypal has thousands of users signing up each hour.
It's impossible for them to run a credit check on each new account.
The system is completely random, and if you get flagged, then just create a new account. |
lakeman | 03-15-2009 02:49 PM | Oh, I thought yesterdaywas, was saying it was a policy that just started today or yesterday. |
yesterdaywas | 03-15-2009 02:56 PM | Sorry I was talking about Feb 11 new policy.....I was just wondering if I did open a new account since I haven't opened one since last year and then I noticed the policy....
Just wanted to c if other people had any problems opening a new one without getting the credit check done.... |
lakeman | 03-15-2009 03:00 PM | Oh, Good! I was worried thinking no more ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info.
I've opened quite a few backup Ebay/Paypal accounts with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info since then, I haven't had any problems so far with them. |
aquariusvc | 03-16-2009 02:39 AM | not see this action in my new account . does they check random ? |
BooMer | 03-16-2009 06:55 AM | This applies to Premier and Business Paypal Account ONLY that you open. Does Not apply to Personal Account. It says that Paypal can check your credit when they think you are at a high security risk (In other words ANYTIME).
Here is the original Link I posted about this topic. http://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal-...html#post75600
You can open up as much Personal Paypal Account you want without Credit checks.

Those accounts that you open since then are premiere or business accounts? and if they are, have you been selling?
Thanks |
lakeman | 03-16-2009 09:06 AM | They were premiere accounts, and yes I have sold a few items on one of them. |
pollux76 | 03-18-2009 08:15 AM | I just opened a Premier account on Saturday (3/14) and no credit check. I haven't sold anything yet. I am letting my accounts age a bit first. |
tb408 | 03-19-2009 11:01 PM | Credit Check Clarification Well if you have a premier and start making money (I was doing about 500 per day) they will credit check new accounts. My old account was never CCked but it was attached to a suspended ebay account hence useless.
They will NOT do the credit check upon opening the account. THEY WILL WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE 500 PLUS IN THERE AND THEN "LIMIT" YOUR ACCOUNT requiring the check at that point so they can hold your money.
"This applies to Premier and Business Paypal Account ONLY that you open. Does Not apply to Personal Account. So basically if you sell $500 per day you have to have several bogus ebay/paypal accounts to be able to withdrawl daily, correct???? What is the point of making a few thousand a week if you can only withdrawl 500 per month? |
yesterdaywas | 03-22-2009 05:36 PM | tb408
So did you open recently a new premiere paypal account and sold about 500 in one day? and got limited with the credit check?
I am just trying to understand your post.... |
tar_baby | 03-22-2009 08:23 PM | ****...so you should never upgrade to a premiere account? |
tb408 | 03-23-2009 10:47 AM | Reply I opened a premier account and was limited after making a few sales. I didn't have the credit check done but after the limiting they wanted to do it.
To the last responder: What is the point of using these techniques to regain a new paypal or ebay account if you can only withdrawl $500 per month, which is the limit on non-premier accounts? |
azlanxp | 03-29-2009 10:52 AM | my premier account also limited after 2 item sold in 5 days.
what must i do actually to make sure paypal not limited at least 1 month? |
When PayPal limits account, they will give you steps to take to lift this limitation. Just follow those steps in your Resolution Center. |
wolfgang69 | 03-29-2009 10:24 PM | Yes they will give you steps to take. But what if one of the steps is to provide ssn for verification and you have used ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name on the account. That is where i am right now. They will take a w2 or 1099 also but both require ssn. Any suggestions? |
azlanxp | 03-30-2009 02:20 AM | but some time they will still limited u although u submit the document they want |
I must have been lucky so far..They asked me just to complete 2 out of 3 steps and I'd always leave out giving away ss#, which was one of the options. |

how long they will limited after sale at ebay?
mine got limited when i'm selling 2 item in 3 days
$40 each item
the problem they ask me for id photo but i'm use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name :peace: |
My items are much higher in price, so I figured they limited me just because of it and to confirm location.. I never did follow the time line on it, but I have been limited at one time or another on every PP account and just worked on lifting this limitation. Limitations seem to be inevitable with PP, unless you follow GreenBean's advice and open PP first and than Ebay, maybe....I haven't tried this yet.
This is why it is so important to have working tel number and "deliverable" address when they mail you letters with numbers you need to input into your PP to lift limitation. |
azlanxp | 03-30-2009 05:11 PM | what price for 1 item u selling?
how many transaction u can do before your acc become limited?
i want try relist another item after 5 days from 1st transaction for new stealth account
hope it working |
I don't sell that many, but more than 2-3 high priced Vero they let me now. I am building my feedback sloowly......... |
azlanxp | 03-31-2009 03:12 AM | i'm just selling 1 item in 3 days or 5 days
but if the item around $50-$100 for 1 item
paypal will limited my account also?
btw my ebay still ok nut only problem with paypal |
PayPal is unpredictable just as Ebay. What they do to some, they don't do to others....so, there is not a set rule as knowing exactly WHEN they will start with limitations. Just know they will come and be ready for them before they do..
A lot has been talked about this on forum, so read and you will get the general feel for what works and what doesn't. Also, they probably have different guidelines for your country... $50-$100 transactions where you are, may be similar to $500-$1000 transactions in US accounts for PayPal. |
azlanxp | 04-01-2009 06:05 AM | will wait for this account...
wanna test how long it will stand without limited |
Burst | 04-01-2009 06:59 AM | Do you notice only a few of you are having this problem? Yet every active user on here is probably creating accounts a couple times a week. Somethings not being done correctly I assume. Ive had NEW NEW accounts take in multiple decent amount items and are not limited.
Somethings not being done properly. |
azlanxp | 04-01-2009 07:05 AM | I'm tested before for 2 month age and NEW age also
paypal will limited if i'm selling 1 item per day for $50 item
this is non vero item
they will ask for my ID photo, invoice, supplier info etc each time limited |
GreenBean | 04-01-2009 07:08 AM | ^^^Is paypal verified? Do the ebay/paypal names & addresses match?
What type of item is involved? |
azlanxp | 04-01-2009 07:27 AM | ebay and paypal address match
listed in Gift Certificates |
GreenBean | 04-01-2009 07:31 AM | ?Gift Certificates. Digital delivery?
paypal has been limiting many accounts for that sort of item. |
azlanxp | 04-01-2009 08:38 AM | not digital delivery
