Paypal not releasing funds
 

I swear I get fed up with Paypal's crap sometimes. Paypal usually releases funds after 3 days when you upload tracking information in the system. Now I have high dollar items where paypal is not releasing the funds after 3 days. I had an item deliver on 9/26 and here it is 10/4 and funds are still held.

Anyone else ever had this issue? Super frustrating. It's bad enough there's even a hold in the first place. arrrgghhhh :mad2::mad2::mad2:

I had the exact same problem except it was 45-50 $20 payments being held, and some were held for 45+ days before I said anything. I sent a message in the message center and had the overdue funds released within 24 hours. The rep said something about a "glitch"

funny how their "glitches" always help their bottom line. never had a "glitch" of $100 showing up in my account

That hurts, and it does not help me from a planning standpoint when I need to funds to order additional packaging, items, etc. I will try sending a message.

Exactly! How about an instant payment glitch every once in awhile haha. ;)

Haha, from what I've heard a lot of users actually are experiencing that with new accounts!

gotta re-think your business strategy if you're struggling to deal with paypal holds.

New paypal have this limitation and this effect our business also
better way to avoid this hold is to make small amount sale for a month and at least complete 50 transaction in small amount then start selling of large amount it will work like that good for me

I agree that a strong business should be able to deal with standard payment holds, but there have been a lot of users (including myself) who have had issues with Paypal holding funds for a lot longer than usual.

they have been holding my funds for over 10 days now, haven't released them yet i have $1,000 on hold and all my items have been delivered. even uploaded tracking.

Message them in message center if funds are overdue. They are pretty decent about making it right.

This is true, but I also need to pay suppliers with the same funds that are being held. I cannot plan to pay my suppliers if I don't know when I will have access to funds. I was usually 3 days after delivery and I would plan accordingly...

I hear you. Having access to your funds on the "promised" release date is critical.

Any luck sending them a message? It's worked fine for me in a few instances now.

This happens to me all the time! All you have to do is give them a call and they release on. Takes no more than 5 minutes on the phone. Out of the last 20 times this happened, just once they made me wait an extra two days for the release, they couldn't explain the reason. Maybe a glitch
