..... Analize this

Today Ive opened a paypal claim for a 400$ purchase that I never received after almost 1 month. (intl. order) The seller never got back to me by email, instead, 12 hours later I receive this "paypal" email... analize the header, to me is so ⊗⊗⊗⊗...

-----------------------

It is strange

1) header tags (to, cc, subject) in lower case
2) little header content (usually they are 1 page worth of info)
3) mispelled "Resolutions"
4) the supossed paypal employee sends a carbon copy to the seller, why?

Does paypal check by email after opening a claim?

So Im almost sure this is a hand made email, but I wonder what does the seller gain if I respond? help me with this...

the guy wants me to reply to "service@paypal.com" about the status of the package that I never gotten...

maybe he foolishly believes the reply will go back to the "cc: " too probably thinking I'm lying about the package not received?

Is this enough to believe the seller never sent out the items? he provided a tracking # but gets lost after package checks in intl. customs, no trace in my country

anyway what is he trying to pull?

To be 150% sure, look at your paypal from the paypal home page.Don't access thro' the email (or any email).Contact paypal as well. Send the full headers to spoof@paypal.com. It's an effort to scam you.

Hi beannie,

I kinda liked most your previous avatar, what's this red birdie supossed to be lol... bring back the girl, we were used to that!

yeah I will send it to spoof@, probably if they realize the seller sent an mail in their behalf that will help towards the non received dispute? still trying to figure out WHAT the seller wants with this move.. what do you think?
