Does PAYPAL match SSN with stealth name

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a stealth PAYPAL account and I have an SSN I can use. Does PP do a search and try to match SSN to stealth name?

If they didn't then anyone could just add a random 9 digit number when asked for the SSN.

Wow....this honestly does not sound legal...putting in a SSN that doesn't belong to the Person on the account....way borderline illegal.

It's not the borrowing of the SSN, If you opened an account in that person's name and so forth with their permission (which we say don't) it would be alright. Using someone's SSN to add to an account that does not match, is technically identity fraud.
