Tax Id required??

Got an email from PP saying the need my Tax Id number so they can do their Fed reporting... They want my SS #, or Employer Fed tax id number... Having bought and used this account I don't want to give them my SS #.. That will show my real name not my "New".... They said they will limit my account if they don't get it... Now what??
