Unable to add zipcode to Vanilla Visa Giftcard
 

Hi, I've been unable to register and add a zipcode to my vanilla visa giftcard. I tried both www.vanillavisa.com & www.vanillagift.com without any success. Vanillavisa.com was also giving an error message last week but I was able to register a zipcode on www.vanillagift.com, today the website is down. I called the 1800 number at the back of the card and when it got the part requiring a zipcode, I typed my 5 digit zipcode then the call transferred to an operator. The lady told me they are experiencing problems with their network and i should try again later. She also said the vanilla visa giftcard is an anonymous card which doesn't require registration because I can use any address while making a purchase online. Anyone else having this issue?

Oh thanks, the vanillagift site eventually come back online. How exactly do VCCs work? I see there are people who sell VCCs here but how is that better than using a visa gift card that can be reused to pay for gas or make a purchase? I mean it costs more buying a gift card for $25 versus paying for a VCC for $12, but I can still use my gift card to make a purchase or give it out as a gift, please can you do the same with VCCs?
