PayPal keeps lying to me?
 

Hi everyone,

I keep getting this email from PayPal saying I have instant payments but when I receive an order, there still holding my money, what is there problem?

This is 2 times they had did this in the past 2 weeks

Congratulations! You are now an established seller

Dear PayPal User,

We’re happy to let you know that you are now an established seller with us. Payments you receive from today onwards will usually be instantly available to you, and money currently in your pending balance should be available within 21 days of the transaction date.

Here are a few tips to help you keep your customers happy:

Ship promptly and use shipping services that provide online tracking and delivery confirmation.
Communicate early and often with your customers to avoid chargebacks and claims.
Avoid long refund times

Are these items being sold via eBay? If so eBay may be the ones holding your funds not PayPal

The Payment I received was from a Bonanza Order and the funds are still on hold

Read again what they wrote to you:
"Payments you receive from today onwards will usually be instantly available to you"
Paypal are not obligated to release ANY payment if they wish to do so and the holds can be placed on the account at any time for any reason.
But the emails is a good sign which means youre establishing trust with them which is a good thing and indicates those holds are most likely going to be gone soon enough. How soon? that's anyones guess.

Well the holds are suppose to be gone after Nov 18th, and it will be 90 days

Again read what I wrote above.
Paypal is not obligated to remove those holds. The minimum requirements state 90 days - but those are just minimum requirements. They do state outright that the holds will be removed and they maintain the right to place those holds on again at any time and for any reason.
technically speaking those holds can be placed on an account indefinitely. its just the way it is.
