So paypal covered the chargeback, and put his account negative for the chargeback amount and he got the money from the 2nd account.
Yeah. Make sense now. I couldn't figure out what he did so bad in PayPal eyes. basically he create a negative to revenge on paypal and take his locked money back.

He is not even a friend. I was just reading about him on the internet, and then i was "wow, good method to take care your money back"!" but "Can they really sue him!?"

If i was about to do frauds, i would just do them not ask if they are legal or not.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

And where exactly did you read about this? I'd like to know the full context of the story as well

Change your name to SWIM or man up and tell the truth.

If you truly have issues with PayPal, we will offer our best advice. But replying about an unknown non existant person is not what we do.

They will send it to debt collection if its negative but he should solve it really.

I was selling items for other people as freelance then I would send them Bitcoin as payment & well they sold some digital items that got charged back & I have to cover it.

Never again.

Who cares what happens, it isn't you or your friend, nor someone you actually know. You simply read of his situation, if he needs help he can seek it here, so why ask it unless you plan on doing it.

The situation is most likely not a friend but themselves....

Then it means they are bigger thief thenu first imagine.
The thruth is that in some cases they block an account in such a way the person can not even do refunds! Witch is clouse enouh for the word stealing.

They are not a bank. Not even an leasing cpompany. They just have some permits for money transfer. Like DHL or local postage have for example. If i send $ throw dhl and they don't want to deliver they have to send the money back at less.

They even got legal problems for those 21 days holds in US. Also they have problems for the 180 days holds. Why in the world they would...

Legally, despite the fact that the PayPal knows that all accounts are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and belong to the same person, they belong to DIFFERENT persons, and as they are all limited, they can't send anything to each other. So that negative balance can't be legally compensated from other accounts just because they are linked. What you did is a clear credit card fraud and you can go to prison for that.

I think it would be not so smart to try and do this for the sake of $500, spend that time more wisely man. Get a new paypal up and running and get back at them. Be ready for the new year.

The time that you spend creating a new paypal to scam your money back, link the two paypals for a few hundred quid, wasting a PP account, then if you plan on selling again rinse and repeat.

Move on

Well ... you create under the same name. Who said of credit card fraud? You can send from another account... sell something on ebay and do not send to 3rd person because you got out of a stock ... you can just grt into a risk business on ebay and get limited

So .. same name...same country... it can happy

Many people start to do that on other forums. Paypal will get mad but that's all.

"PayPal can get mad but that's all"

Are you willing to risk it for such a small amount?

"Can they really sue this guy"
