Paypal closed my account
I have been selling through ebay / paypal for many years. I am top rated with 4000 feedback. I started to list higher value products from my retail shops in UK. But this spiked my sales. After sending much paperwork to resolve limitations, it seems Paypal think I am now too big a risk. I have 1000 items listed and was planning to list all my stock (maybe 5000 items) over the next year to see how it would increase business to become a standalone internet business. I have drafted a letter to the MD hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, it seems for the UK, it is mandatory to have a paypal account to sell on ebay, so it looks likely I will lose my full ebay business. I have seen references to Stealth, so maybe this will be an answer, but is that the right way to go, or should I try to stay open with Paypal rather than below their radar? I am less concerned they are holding funds for 180 days. Can I negotiate or have I lost my ebay business? |
