Anyone had the $1000 withdrawal limit removed - but not removing?

Hi everyone!

9 month old personal account.

Paypal says "You can withdraw $1,000.00 every 30 days ($30.00 remaining this period). Provide a few details to get more money sooner."

When I click on the link it says, "Your withdrawal limit has been removed

We're updating your account. This might take a couple of minutes.

Link and confirm your bank account (Checked)

Provide your Social Security number

Link and confirm a debit or credit card (Checked)"

For the last several days its said the same thing however when I go to do the withdrawal the first message appears.

What should I do?

Confirmed Checking Account.

Confirmed Debit Card (prepaid)

Confirmed Debit Card (prepaid)

Thanks!

Thanks.

@Startacus, do you want to give them your SSN? You said "personal account" - in your real details?

Hi again I did not provide SSN due to it being stealth. However I have no problems calling in. I just wanted some insight before I do call in. Their site says the limit has been removed - then says I can remove 30 out of 1000 lol. Go figure!

I wonder if it has to do with the prepaid cards vs a real debit / credit card. I do have a bank debit card attached to the bank account being used that I've never used on PP.

I'm having the same issue. On one of the accounts it just went away. On another it is still asking for SS to lift the limit. Any updates on calling in?

Re: Anyone had the $1000 withdrawal limit removed - but not removing?

Hi again,

I did manage to fix it without calling in.

In my case the withdrawal limit was reporting to be removed however it was only reporting $30 available to withdraw.

However when I signed out and signed back in I noticed the bell symbol on the top had a number sitting next to it. When I clicked the bell symbol a drawer slid out of the right hand side of the screen saying I needed the verify my card. When I clicked on it, the next screen was from the old site which clearly showed that I had not added a SS# or verified a CC#. No checks next to either of them. So I clicked on the verify CC#. It listed two debit cards and asked me which to verify. I chose one and they said they would send the $1.95 charge. I accepted. Then when I went to the main screen the bell had a number in it again. This time it said Verify your card. So I clicked on it. Then I opened a different browser, logged into the debit card site, and the first charge listed was 1234CODE PAYXXXX DEBIT... where the 1234 was the code. I went back to the PP browser, entered the code, and got the Congratulations you lifted your withdrawal limit message. So I immediately was able to make a withdrawal successfully.

So in closing, I believe a glitch exists between the new graphical PP site and the older site. The new site is correctly showing the card needed to be verified, but sending people to the wrong new link which says incorrectly the limit has been lifted. Upon getting through the new site into the older site, it displayed like it used to which clearly showed what I needed to do. I just hope this particular fiasco is over.

Joanna and Yomama you may want to log into your account and LOOK CAREFULLY to see if any of this applies to you. And I thank GreenBean and Rsot for trying to help me.
