Paypal removed my account?
 

Hi,
I have a question for you guys. Sunday I transferred over 400, Monday my deposit wasnt there ( its always there next day) . Monday i transferred over another 50. Still not there this morning. Then I get an email from paypal saying it was returned by my bank for being account closed.
I ran to my bank, its open, active.
Paypal keeps increasing my limits , I can have 8800 available now, anything after that I get in 21 days. the account is business, with name/social.
My bank says it could have been a weird glitch. I re- added it with paypal.
( the email they sent, says if it was an error to re-add it ) now im waiting to confirm ( small deposits )

Should I call them? Just re add the bank info? super weird, even the bank teller couldnt understand why they think its closed

Even though many will say probably a glitch somewhere, I think Paypal does this on purpose.

Ideally you should wait for a transfer to come through then transfer more.

Regarding calling them. I have done this in the past and they manually added my bank account, but.....
..... they will manually review your account so if any unusually activity is spotted, they will limit it until you send in the required docs etc.

The docs part sounds like a UK thing. I've had to call in to add bank accounts before on active accounts and it was all handled by a robo-operator.

@OP - I would wait to see if you're able to add the bank back by yourself before calling in.

Is your bank account also a business account?
