Recovering an old stealth account
 

I have all info, documents photo ID, access to email.

Just no phone number and I am getting one of my secruity questions wrong.


I have lost the number and I can't for the life of me workout why I don't know he security answer to one of my questions. I normally always have a notepad file with all important info but for this specific account I don't

How can I get around this best? Call them and say I have forgotten the answers and my phone is no longer valid- say I can provide photo ID etc and all the other info?

Did you by chance use the same number on the email account or the eBay?

Are they are just asking you to confirm the phone number or are they trying to send a text?

Well I'm trying to recover the password as I've forgot it and lost note file with info.

I get the code from email- then have to ether confirm phone or answers

Have no idea about the email. Will have to check. PayPal not linked to eBay


Side note - if I fail the pass a few times and initiate a recovery by using the email code- will it be impossible to guess the account poassword afterwards. Like let it rest a little

Great result. Just be really careful with SIMs in the future
