dava811 | 12-06-2016 03:09 PM | Paypal Uk Issues Hello guys, first time posting on the forum but been on here quite a while. I have 2 ebay accounts linked to 1 paypal account all stealth. I used all the same details for the ebay accounts so I don't think there is anything wrong there.
Anyway today paypal limited me asking for;
6 Dec 2016
Photo ID
Proof of Address
Provide Invoices
Supplier Contact Info
Organisation and Payment Information
Provide proof of business
Provide business information
Provide proof of delivery
Resolve issue with related accounts
Ive had about £800 come in the last week or so, I'm am going to have to get creative here big time but do you think there is any reason behind the limitation, I mean I haven't hit the eu limit yet. No bad feedback etv everything been all good so far. Is there much chance of getting this reinstated?
Any help would be greately appreciated. |
Bunneh | 12-06-2016 03:12 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues very very hard to pass these with so much required but it has been done.
do you sell risky items? |
dava811 | 12-06-2016 03:34 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Yea you could say they are risky items, satellite boxes. Been at them a few years on and off when I have the time, I work a full time job so when things are quiet at work I take a charge at it. I think the hardest thing is going to be the photo id. Not too many people willing to help me out with that one :D |
dava811 | 12-06-2016 03:45 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Also how essential is the tracking numbers for proof of delivery? I have a few guys that I dropship with so I don't really have any to hand. |
JamesNorth101 | 12-06-2016 04:36 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues If they have asked for it then I would say pretty important
A lot of the time though if you cannot provide them with everything that they need you would just need to provide them with as much as you can and then phone to tell them that you cannot provide the rest
With a list that long its a bit of a long shot to get your account back though I am afraid |
dava811 | 12-06-2016 04:43 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Yea I'm thinking the same to be honest, I'm trying to get the documents together, there's actually £900 in the account. I've about 4 items still to dropship. If I don't buy them and refund the 4 items ebay is going to freak out. If I use more of my own money and ship the 4 items I may not see the money back for 6 months. I'm in a bit of a pickle for sure.
All info welcome but I will keep you all updated how it goes. |
JamesNorth101 | 12-06-2016 04:56 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues The eBay isn't going to be much use going forward to be honest with a limited PayPal
It would be best to just issue refunds for the items that have not yet been shipped and wait the 6 months for the rest of the money |
dava811 | 12-06-2016 05:01 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Thanks James, assuming I get all the documents together are you pretty confident I will not get reinstated? |
JamesNorth101 | 12-06-2016 05:01 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Even if you did get reinstated I would put money on you getting limits a few days later |
dava811 | 12-06-2016 07:14 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues I have got the invoices, business information, some tracking numbers done, organisation and payment info and supplier info done, just the ID and proof of address to do.
Will online ebills do or am I better to scan them?
Thanks |
dava811 | 12-07-2016 12:13 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Hi guys, I'm uploading the photo documents to paypal in next few hours, I am uploading a CC statement, I have blanked out the card number but I am leaving the last 4 digits, will they accept this? I haven't used this CC on paypal before and its not the CC they have on file for me (entropay).
Does this matter and is it ok to blank out the other account numbers for security purposes as I will be uploading my entire lifes details to them, should I get creative and add the last 4 digits or the entropay card onto the CC statement I am uploading?
Thanks and I love you all |
dava811 | 12-09-2016 07:14 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Hi guys so ive sent all documents stated above to paypal, they then asked for a credit card statement which I have ready to upload. When they limited me I cancelled a few orders to try and save some money as I was drop shipping. I cancelled about 4-5 orders.
They have asked me why my Cancel rate is 35%. What should I say bare in mind they have all my photo id already and it seems they are happy enough so far. Please help me out with this hurdle, should I say I had a late shipment, should I say I panicked after my account getting limited?
I hope those refunds aren't the reason I get limited in the enf.
Thanks
EDIT:
They also mention resolving an issue with a linked account, its the same paypal account with 2 email addresses attached to it. There is nothing which suggests a particular problem. |
dava811 | 12-10-2016 05:05 PM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Just to update the thread, all documents have been sent to paypal. I emailed them about the missing tracking numbers and I explained that I had to refund those orders before dispatch so I had no tracking. They removed that from the list of required documents.
I am awaiting a response from them to see if my limitations get lifted, il be honest here I'm thinking its 50/50. After I sent the photo id and chredit card proof of address it shows on the resolution centre as complete "accepted". That is when they asked for a CC statement.
I'm thinking they would of closed my account immediately if that didn't pass cerification. Anyway just putting this here for others.
Thanks |
dava811 | 12-15-2016 08:13 AM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues So i received the email from paypal, they closed my account as a security precaution. I really thought I was onto a winner. Ah well, onwards and upwards. I've an idea that could possibly see me getting my money back from paypal, due to the category that I sell in I have some control over my customers product, some will know what I mean and some will not. For example I can disable it from my end.
Should I issue refunds to my customers and ask them to bank transfer the money back to me -10-20% they can keep. Its a little risky I know but I have a little bit oh hope. I have spoke to a few of them via email back and forth for support. I think I need to change category as I think paypal will constantly limit me.
All advice welcome. |
just_smile | 12-15-2016 08:22 AM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Unfortunately if you get a list that big. It means paypal really doesn't like you.
There's no harm in trying to receive payments another way now your accounts closed. |
dava811 | 12-15-2016 08:37 AM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues Yea after I sent them the documents they asked for they then asked for more, which I then sent. I spoke with them twice on the phone because they kept asking for documents that I had already uploaded to them. All seemed to be well but obviously they had other ideas, should I abandon the ebay account altogether? |
just_smile | 12-15-2016 08:41 AM | Re: Paypal Uk Issues You would have to abandon the ebay. Attaching a new paypal is not a good idea.
A new ebay/paypal combo is the safest method. |
