PayPal/IRS names don't match and now they want ss#
I got an email (not a spoof) that the IRS contacted them stating my name on paypal doesn't match the name they have for my ein on record for them. I opened my PayPal in 2012, did fine till the dreaded 'we need ss or ein' email. So I registered with the IRS to get an ein, entered that that and zero issues since. Till today. They have given me until the 7th of Jan to fill out a form with all my real info, including social that matches info that IRS has. Is there any way around this???? |
