21 day holds not stopping, even after 90 days...
 

I have a couple of active, high-performing (fast shipping, low risk categories, Eb shipping labels, etc) accounts that are past the 90 days and the holds are not dropping.

From my experience, it often only takes 30-60 days of this kind of on-the-ball selling/shipping for the holds to drop, could the still-there holds be something to do with us being just before Christmas?

Is there a time of year (say January or Feb) where things relax a little more, that people have noticed?

Have you been selling constantly on the account or did you leave it for a period doing nothing?

Nope... I've been selling regularly (about 20 items per week in the $20-$50 each range) every week for all 3 months. I'm very familiar with the process (been on here for 8+ years) and this is the first that I've noticed the limits didn't drop off early, if not close to the 90 day mark.

I'm assuming that it's to do with being just before Christmas, and they are extra strict right around now I would think... but I dont' know, and thought maybe if someone else noticed it too.

This is the first time I had a batch of accounts reach their 90 days at this time of year.

Any of these accounts have "glitches" aka issues?

I have matured accounts last year and this year. My holds dropped.

These are West Coast US accounts too.

No issues... no disputes, delays, nothing even close. I'm really thinking it's because the final days of the 90 day window is smack in the middle of the high risk season... because it's on 3 accounts, all in different niches.

I made a few paypal accounts and on each of them i have this "confirm your identity" limit. Which is a permanent 21 hold until you call or receive a message from paypal via the phone use entered on the account.

My account 1 year old, I sell mostly on UK, so the pounds limit are gone (after half year), but the dollars limit are still there.
