Urgent advice needed: Using a VCC with a legit PayPal account?
Hey guys,
I would greatly appreciate if you could advice me with my PayPal (UK) limitation.
Questions in short:
1. Is it safe to use a VCC to verify a real legit PayPal account, using my real details on the VCC? Or does the CC have to be from the same bank as the bank account on my PayPal?
2. If I add a real credit card to my PayPal account, but my billing address is different with my bank (changed recently), will the verification be refused?
I have already provided PayPal with a bank statement with a UK billing address, which I would also use for the VCC so they would match. However, at my UK bank account I actually have a non-UK billing address, so depends on the verification system I'm not sure if it will work or not?
So here is a bit more to my problem: I have a +4 years old UK PayPal that I've used for a year to sell on eBay UK. After reaching over £70k/month in sales my account got limited asking for more details, which I know that every big seller gets at some point. I currently have £15k stuck on the PayPal, I owe eBay around £5k and a software company £1k which I am unable to pay. Both are threatening me with suspension so I am very stressed.
I would change my bank's billing address to a UK one, however they refused to do it unless I visit the branch in person. I am over 10,000 miles away. Any advice please? |
