PayPal asking for EIN, Question.
 

Paypal account is giving me a notification, on my Stealth account.
Below is a photo of it.

I have question on what to do, and how to approach this.
1. I can't give SS number.
2. I have an original EIN number that I used on my first TRUE ebay account. (BUT that number is linked to my original banded ebay account)
3. Which option would I choose?

Do you need to match your DBA name to your EIN some how?
That would be my question. How do you set up your Stealth EIN name?

But, it basically says...

Provide your tax reporting information.
We'll use your tax ID number to send tax form 1099-k to you and the IRS if the payments you receive in a calendar year go ab ove 20,000/200.
Please provide your tax ID number today.

What tax ID number do you use when you pay your taxes?
1. I use my SS#.
2. I use my EIN (if you select this, PayPal will ask you to upgrade to a Business Account)
3. I use my Individual Tax ID number.


So basically my question is, what choice do I pick?
And how do I open the tax id?
Where do I put my Stealth name into the equation?

Basically your only choice is to use an EIN. You'll need to start a company and get an EIN from the IRS. Once you do that you can upgrade your Paypal account to a business account and enter that EIN. You'll have a chance to enter your business name into Paypal and you need to put down the exact business name that you gave the IRS when you applied for an EIN.

I have my original EIN from my original (banned) Ebay account.

Naturally I don't think I can use that EIN correct?

No you shouldn't reuse anything that can be tied back to you, like an EIN. You'll need an all new one.
