Restrictions with Bank Account only
 

What are the restrictions when selling on ebay with having a Bank account ONLY registered to you Paypal account ? (No debit / credit card).
I understand that it is necessary to have both a bank account and credit / debit card registered to your Paypal account in order to be fully verified.
As far as i know having a credit/ debit card on file with Paypal is for the purposes of Paying eBay fees only .
Can i sell on ebay with only a bank account on file with Paypal or do a need a debit card aswell to sell properly?

What is the point of having only a bank account for a stealth pp account, when having a credit card is even easier, with prepaid debit cards??

For one, you can't withdraw your money out of PayPal into debit card.

I have PayPal acc. where I did all that and than 8 months later they imposed again $500 a month limit and I had to go lift it again. It's easy to do, so I didn't argue with PP. They obviously do whatever they want to. They did this twice to me..I would have hoped they would be little more creative when picking at me...But, they are not.:ranger:

I belive to sale on ebay and u use paypal to pay your fees it will ask you to add a credit card to your paypal account.

The reason i was asking was because it is difficult for me to get new credit/debit cards ,
I have allready been refused two , whereas getting a new saving / account that has a cash card (that is not a debit) is easy - They give them out to anyone.....
So , it is much easier to get a new details (card number - acount number - ex date etc) for a bank account than it is a credit / debit card.
Are you telling me that with only a bank account only on file i will not be able to withdraw my money from paypal ?

The OP is in the UK. He needs a verified paypal to sell. Most of my accounts need a cc as well as a bank account :peace:

OOPs: cross posted. Well you can use entropay as A VCC to verify your paypal then attach a bank account. Not a great problem,really. entropay do not do a 'credit' check as such
