Advice for NEW Business PayPal: Safe progression to $100k per month Revenue?
 

Hey guys,

As you may have seen from my other threads my UK PayPal got limited and I'm now opening a new legitimate business PayPal for my company in Hong Kong. It will be linked to a real business bank account and credit card, so I will have no issues verifying the account and submitting necessary documents. Previously, my business was making around $100k/month revenue through PayPal (dropshipping on eBay) making around $500 per day profit.

Now I'm trying to get back on my feet with a new PayPal, but wondering that what would be a safe progression from 0 to 100k per month in revenue? Do you think 6 months would be enough? I sell pretty low risk items with average price around $20.

Previously, I started with new eBay accounts so the progression was automatically slow due to eBay limits, but now I have many eBay accounts (in my name) with huge limits so in that sense I could sell a lot asap, but I'm sure it's not wise on a new PayPal.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

This fact alone can bring your entire operation down before you ever started. if all these accounts with high limits have YOUR name on the names theyre all linked. The first time ANY of these gets into trouble the link will cause a domino effect that will impact all your accounts and take them all out of commission.

Thanks, this is noted. I originally created multiple (linked) accounts as a measure to be able to sell more items in the beginning, with low limits to start with. Now I rotate the accounts when one gets hit vit VeRo / prohibited item violations. Actually, I have never had issues with eBay but I do realise the risks. I will also start some stealth accounts on the side.

I was actually looking for information on how quicky can you start to process high revenue on a new PayPal, using an old eBay account with thousands of positive feedback.

I disagree with everything sloker just said BUT I would not have all accounts in my name either. Paypal is not linking by name alone.

Where do you sell your products? On eBay HK or eBay US?

If you sell on US eBay, I'm pretty sure there's someone on eBay HK who can help you with cross-border trade. :)

I mean HK has a huge population and very similar names all around. They will link you by inventory and name. You might be able to slide if you provide all the documents they ask for. You might even wanna try to get to that point right off the bat and see if you pass if you want to go this route. I think Ebay will link you first with that kind of limit rolling out each month.
