My money just disappeared!!!
 

Hello!
I just made an eBay account and I had 10$ in my Paypal balance I wanted to by few small things I bought an 2 items for 0.99$ each and when I try to buy another item my eBay doesn't allow me to buy it! I look into my Paypal account and all the money has gone! When I check the history there is only 2 payments for 0.99$ and there is no other transaction displayed!
Where is my money???

How did you get the $10 balance into the PayPal account?

Are you totally sure it wasn't being funded by a VCC?

These 10$ was sent from my friends paypal (as a friend)!
For both items shipping is FREE they worth only 0.99$ each! And exaclty that is shows up on my history record in my paypal there is no other charges!

Possible that the money got returned to your friend? Chargeback? Did you check with your friend?

He was with me when he sent me the money and we look at his paypal and there is no chargeback or something!

You may want to look at the transaction itself then to see if it is under review

Transactions can go into review a few hours after you get it. That means you can spend it and then the transaction goes into review

Maybe go ahead and see if that has happened?

I had 0$ balance then I get 10$ from my friend and bought items for 2$ and then other 8$ just gone ... I find other cases like this on paypal community and still didn't find any solution.

Maybe this is the case but there is nothing no notification about this and there is nothing in the history record!

Have you actually looked at the $10 transaction. Have you clicked it in PayPal and seen if it is under review or not

They do not always email

You need to log into PayPal and physically check

Can not help but think if new accounts got made to the stealth way, the issues would be far less for us to try and assist.

Word of advise, do not get your friend or anyone else's account involved to fund your stealth accounts. They can easily all go down at the same time when your stealth go down.

What exactly happens when you try to pay for something?
Does the payment screen just keep looping??
Because if it does, that doesnt mean that there is no funds inside paypal, it is just a glitch on paypals end that has been happening a LOT lately, and usually have to wait a few days for it to reset back or calling them makes them put an override on the account.

My money just came back few hours after I post this thread! Very strange there is still nothing in the transaction history!

Sounds like a paypal glitch.

Sometimes paypals history takes a while to update, and doesnt update in real time.

It will all get sorted out. Youre too impatient. Especially over a weekend.
