PayPal (and eBay) IPs - Creation vs Access?
 

So I know defintely use a VPN when creating my accounts, but do I need to keep using the VPN as I access them?

Also does it make a difference whether I link the PP to an eBay account or not? What if I just wanted to use the account as a personal, quazi-"legit" account?

No, you do not have to use a VPN. If you are making a US account (and you are physically in US) you can get a different IP for that in more than one way:

USB internet key/dongle, phone thetering or even switching off and on again your home modem/router.

VPN will give you a dedicated IP. This is a must if you are operating on a different country.

Right, but do I need to keep using this new IP address once the account has already been created?

Also, I know that I can choose to link it - but if I don't link it, will that make it more difficult for them to detect?

No, you don't....

Once you use the PayPal with the Ebay Account at any time, you have created a link.....it's that simple.

I'm not asking about if there is a link. I'm asking if having that link makes the PayPal account more detectable as a stealth account?

I.E. if I was more interested in keeping the PayPal account rather than being able to link it to PayPal, would it be better not to link it or does it not make a difference?
